On Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018 Main Line Today celebrated 20 remarkable women at the 9th annual Women on the Move networking and awards luncheon. Guests enjoyed before and after lunch networking, visits to sponsor tables, a fascinating conversation between the keynote presenters and an awards presentation to the honorees.


Purses Full of Hope gives love and assistance to women victims of domestic abuse, poverty and more. They collect purses filled with women’s toiletries and a handwritten note of support and encouragement at the event. For more information, visit: pursesfullofhope.org.


The highlight of the luncheon was a conversation between Tracy Davidson, Emmy award-winning anchor from NBC10 and Lisa Thomas-Laury, retired Philadelphia news anchor and author.


The event recognized the remarkable accomplishments of the 20 honorees featured in Main Line Today‘s October Power Women editorial piece. Nominations for 2019 are open to the public, and can be submitted on mainlinetoday.com.


Drexelbrook hosted another successful Women on the Move luncheon with nearly 400 guests in attendance. Drexelbrook is the Delaware Valley’s premier Philadelphia Wedding Venue, Corporate Events Center and Banquet Facility located in Delaware Country, PA.
