Running Elves Invade West Chester

Share

The sixth annual Jingle Elf Run leads off the Old- Fashioned Christmas Parade with children’s races, a one-mile walk and a two-mile run.

This year’s event will again be sponsored by Environmental Service Concepts (ESC), and all proceeds will benefit FAME Fire Company of West Chester, with FAME volunteers assisting race operations.

Register in advance at www.RunCCRS.com to receive a free jingle-elf hat to wear during the race. Or register in-person after 5:30 p.m. on the day of the event. The race will commence at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 5 at the corner of High and Market streets, and will follow the parade route in front of thousands of spectators. Cash and prizes will be presented to race winners and contestants for Most Creative Holiday Outfit and Best-Dressed Elf.

Environmental Service Concepts is a national Janitorial & Maintenance firm headquartered in West Chester. As proud sponsors of the Jingle Elf Run, ESC is committed to serving the greater West Chester community. “Whether it’s routine office cleaning or engineered solutions in a LEED-certified environment, our team will create a program that fits any vision,” says president Todd Videon. “We want to thank the Greater West Chester Chamber and all of the wonderful competitors who take part in the Jingle Elf Run. Your spirit truly makes West Chester the greatest small town in America.”

The volunteer Fame Fire Company provides fire and rescue services to the Borough of West Chester and surrounding areas. With more than 50 active members logging countless hours training to keep the community safe, FAME is currently conducting a capital campaign to improve its station house.
