Power Women: Pam Maxwell

Twenty-one of the Main Line’s most successful and influential women share their secrets to success.

Photo by Jared CastaldiMore than 25 years ago, Pam Maxwell started a commercial cleaning business with her husband. Soon after, she had an idea. “A vision of starting a division that provided residential cleaning services, plus a lot more,” says Maxwell.

Ten years later, Maxwell’s Executive Residential Service is catering to pro athletes, CEOs, local TV personalities, celebrities and other clients who value its high standards. “It was a big
undertaking and a challenge,” says Maxwell of growing her business. “I needed to hire people who were willing to work that hard.”

Maxwell’s concierge services cover just about anything, from car detailing and grocery pickup to looking after properties while clients are away. Her team now numbers more than 35 employees. “They all sign confidentiality agreements,” says Maxwell. “Our clients are busy, and they need to be able to trust us to get the work done—and get it done the right way.”
