» Don’t we know it: Those of us who’ve been experiencing mixed emotions lately in regard to our Main Line lifestyle (i.e. cost of living vs. perks), we’ve got just cause, especially if you’re in Radnor Township, which already has residents in a tizzy over a pending real estate tax hike slated for 2010. Fittingly, it’s been named one of the “Most Expensive Suburbs to Live in Now” by Business Week (businessweek.com). The list weighs several factors, including cost of living, non-retail expenditures (mortgage and utility payments), and median home price and property tax. » Taking it on the road: Last month, Moms on the Move—the Emmy-winning show hosted by Haverford’s Linda Swain—has started airing on major network affiliates across the country, thanks to a new syndication deal. A mother of six and clearly a qualified host (she and her husband, Ian, have built the successful Ardmore-based travel business, Swain Tours), Swain now highlights the achievements of mothers everywhere after five years of profiling local moms for NBC 10 here in Philadelphia. The new half-hour show has a fresh feel, with a live studio audience.
