Coyote Crossing celebrated the start of 2015 with a total renovation of its dining room and the addition of a new Mezcal Bar, where the restaurant features its own brand of mezcal. A distilled alcoholic beverage similar to tequila and made from agave plants, mezcal has quickly grown in popularity. The United States now has 200-plus mezcal bars.
“After almost two decades at this location, we thought it was time for a new look with added space,” says owner Carlos Melendez.
The addition includes large glass doors, which will remain open during the warmer months, so customers feel like they’re outside. “Now, our long-time patrons will have more room and a fun, hip place to enjoy our delicious Mexican food and specialty drinks,” Melendez says.
