Meet, Greet and Eat … Then Go Shopping

From weddings to family reunions, West Chester has it all.

West Chester has become a destination for an increasing number of social activities— marriage celebrations, family reunions, corporate meetings and friendly gatherings. It’s easy to see why. There are more restaurants to choose from, and more places for receptions and meetings, than ever before. And the best part is that everything is centrally located. No matter where you park your car, you’re not more than two or three blocks from your destination—and most likely just across the street. Stay at the Hotel Warner, and you’ll be in the center of the shopping and dining district, with no need to drive anywhere.

More than ever, West Chester is seen as the place to be. Main Line Today recognized 13 downtown businesses as part of its 2014 Best of the Main Line and Western Suburbs awards, while VisitPhilly.com highlights West Chester as a Philadelphia Countryside Destination, part of a new national promotional effort. This follows previous acknowledgments of West Chester as a Classic Town by the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission and a Distinctive Destination by the National Trust for Historic Preservation (only the second such spot in Pennsylvania).

If you haven’t been to West Chester in a while, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the changes taking place.
