Robert Morris Inn. Former executive chef at the legendary Inn at Perry Cabin, Mark Salter now has his own casual dining spot on the river for his prix-fixe menus ($19 and $25). Check the schedule for one of Salter’s two-hour cooking demos, complete with a two-course dinner and wine ($64).

Oxford. Sun, swim and search for sea glass on one of Oxford’s tiny beaches right by the ferry dock. Local favorites are Lovers Lane (up the street with the “Dead End” sign) and the Strand.
