The Ardmore Initiative is a business district authority created by Lower Merion Township in 1993 to represent and promote the interests of commercial property owners in downtown Ardmore. The Ardmore Initiative administers façade-improvement grants, provides streetscape amenities, and markets the commercial district. It is a recognized National Trust for Historic Preservation Main Street program and was named one of the top 10 performing programs in Pennsylvania in 2008-09.

In 2009, the Ardmore Initiative created the Ardmore Community Development Fund, a 501-C-3 nonprofit organization providing programs and services that enhance the quality of life in our community. It supports not only the work of the Ardmore Initiative, but that of other civic and community groups working to create and maintain a vibrant Ardmore. Your tax-deductible contribution to the Ardmore Community Development Fund will help us keep Ardmore a wonderful town in which to live, work, shop or play!

For more information about the Ardmore Initiative, the Ardmore Community Development Fund, our programs, and sponsorship and marketing opportunities, please contact Executive Director Christine Vilardo at (610) 645-0540 or Christine@ardmoreinitiative.org or visit www.allaboutardmore.com.
