Looking Good

Sizzling-hot shots of the it’s-so-close-I-can-taste-it Firecreek.

It’s Getting Hot in Here: Check out the latest photos below from Carrollton Development Group. Looks like things are moving along smoothly—and quickly—for Carlo deMarco and his team over at Firecreek Restaurant and Bar. The photos speak for themselves, so I’ll save my verbosity for a subsequent post. I will say that the wine list is in hand and, true to what deMarco told me, it’s filled with primarily Northwest and West Coast American wines, with a few South American varietals mixed in. Price points run from $30-$99 for bottles, and $7-$10 for wines by the glass. What I like about this list is that, for the most part, it’s arranged from the most expensive to the least (there are a few exceptions on the whites, but that could just be an editing error). At any rate, I love the idea of going for the budget buster straight out of the gate. It shows confidence.

Not jumping to any conclusions here, but I’ve got a feeling this place is going to wow people. And I’m crossing my fingers that underneath the really well-done window dressing is a lot of substance.
