Jill Unruh, 45, Bryn Mawr, Executive recruiter for retail and fashion brands
Style: It depends on how I feel that day. I do like a clean aesthetic, in a casual and comfortable way.
Fashion icon: Right now, I’m loving Isabel Marant. I also admire Diane von Furstenberg.
Shopping strategy: Since I follow the industry, I see a lot of trends in the various publications I read. I look for pieces that complement what I already have—and keep building.
Worth the splurge: A great leather jacket.
Indispensable accessory: A 1940s gold chain with disks, which my husband gave me as a gift. It has the birth dates of my two sons and also my wedding date engraved on the disks.
Favorite footwear: I love my ballet flats for everyday. I could live in my Birkenstocks. I’m much more comfortable in flats and low heels, even though I’m only 5-foot-2.
Where to find her without makeup: I never wear makeup when I’m home. When I go out, I keep it really simple—mascara, a little blush, and that’s it.
Signature fragrance: I wear Carthusia, the perfume I bought on Capri on my honeymoon. It’s made with native flowers, and you can only buy it there.
Oldest thing in her closet: A Lilly Pulitzer dress I wore on one of my first dates with my husband. I never wear it, but I keep it because of that special memory. I also still have the powder-blue Chanel suit I put on after I got out of my wedding dress 14 years ago.
Most recent purchase: A cashmere pullover sweater—a very simple light gray. I just bought a pair of light-gray jeans that will look great with it. I can also wear it with a skirt.
What she’s wearing (at Eaves, Wayne): Iro jacket, James Perse tee, Mother jeans, Rag & Bone sneakers, an estate necklace.
