Current Night Kitchen proprietor Amy Edelman takes pride in recreating the cake she recalls from childhood, zesting and squeezing lemons into a house-made curd made with massive amounts of real butter (the only way to do it) and finishing off the fluffy layers with generous smears of cream-cheese icing.
