Fast, Fresh and Simple's Hope Cohen Plays Host for Dine In, Help Out

The cooking show personality ups the ante by preparing her own cookbook recipes for guests at a September fundraiser.

Chef and local media personality Hope Cohen hosted an intimate “Dine In, Help Out” event for 12 at her home in late September. Guests feasted on a three-course meal prepared from various recipes featured in Cohen’s recently released Fast, Fresh and Simple cookbook. Highlights included roasted Italian olives with lemon, garlic and rosemary; bruschetta with local goat cheese, honey and herbs; Barnegat Light scallop ceviche with mango, caviar and local micro herbs; Ricotta Gnudi with butternut squash, wild mushrooms and sage; roasted red snapper with fennel, leek and tomato fondue; and pear Frangipane tart with crème fraîche. “Everyone said they loved the evening, and some plan on hosting their own dinners soon,” says Cohen.
