The event also includes activities for children of all ages, including rides, games and face painting. Live music from Bach to Rock, dancing performances from Contempra Dance and arts and crafts also keep little ones entertained. Food vendors set up outside and sell festival-friendly fare, including hot dogs from Christopher’s, ice cream from the Wayne Bar and eggrolls from Margaret Kuo’s.
The annual Top Dog contest draws dozens of contestants for a fun, family-friendly dog show. The dogs are judged by local dog experts, and winners are awarded prize baskets from Braxton’s Animal Works.
This year, the event expanded from North Wayne Avenue onto West Avenue, adding even more vendors, a Radnor Fire Truck and two new rides for older children.
