The Delaware College of Art and Design (DCAD) is the only two-year art and design college in the country, and Delaware’s first and only professional art and design school. DCAD offers Associate of Fine Arts Degrees in Animation, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Illustration, Interior Design, and Photography. DCAD boasts a unique 2 +2 transfer program, in which students earn their Associates of Fine Arts degree after two years and then are prepared to transfer as third-year students to other colleges across the globe to earn their Bachelor of Arts degree. New for Fall 2016, DCAD is offering the first art and design cooperative education program of its kind—encompassing two paid internships for eligible students in the Graphic and Interior Design programs. DCAD operates on a rolling admissions basis and is currently accepting applications for the Fall semester and beyond.
