Fans of top-shelf Q Tonic are going to love the company’s latest creation, Q Ginger. This spicy, clean-tasting newcomer has everything we didn’t know we wanted in a ginger ale. Unlike its commercial counterparts, which get their sweetness from high fructose corn syrup, Q Ginger contains just a hint of organic agave nectar, giving it half the calories of the regular stuff. And Q Ginger—with real ginger, coriander, cardamom, cayenne, rose oil and orange peel—makes a great mixer for festive Thanksgiving cocktails. For an updated take on a Moscow Mule, pour an ounce of vodka over ice in a highball glass or a traditional copper mug, and top with 1 ounce of fresh lime juice, 3 ounces of Q Ginger and a dash of bitters. Give it a stir, and garnish with a lime wedge and a sprig of mint. Or try the nonalcoholic pink ginger: Top 5 ounces of Q Ginger with three dashes of bitters, and serve over crushed ice with a slice of lemon. $8. Available at Williams-Sonoma, King of Prussia.
