Fonthill Castle
Doylestown’s landmark concrete castle is celebrating its 100th year. Inside is a multiroom, floor-to-ceiling exhibit of the intricately detailed, handcrafted artistry of master tile maker Henry Mercer. Spooky moonlight tours are offered in October. $12; kids $6.

Mercer Museum
More than 40,000 everyday tools, household objects and other items depict the lives and work of Americans before the Industrial Revolution. Tour the Pulitzer Prize-winning author and humanitarian’s 1825 stone farmhouse, with its personal collections of American and Asian art and furnishings.
