A Day of Family Fun at the Iron Hill Twilight Race Series

Highlights include the Benchmark Community Festival and Kid’s Zone.

At the Iron Hill Twilight Racing Series, there is plenty to do before the racing even begins. The day is filled with events sure to entertain the entire family, regardless of age. At the Benchmark Community Festival, community members can browse the showcases of numerous local businesses. From booth to booth, you will enjoy shopping, food and a business bazaar. The festival is free and open to the public. The fun starts at 4 p.m. on High Street between Market and Gay streets.

The Kid’s Zone, located on East Gay Street between High and Walnut Streets, promises entertainment for children of all ages. The fun kicks off at 4 p.m. with bounce houses, mechanical bull, giant slide, bike raffle and more. With all the excitement happening, it might be hard to tear them away. Luckily, there are even more events to pencil in to your race day.

Venture away from the center of town and check out the Market Street Block Party located conveniently on Market Street between Church and Darlington streets. From 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., all are invited to enjoy live music, art activities, great food and business specials. New this year will be a Graffiti Wall presented by the Chester County Art Association. Explore the Fame Fire Company Truck and meet the Chester County K-9 Unit. There will also be free parking in the Justice Center Garage.
