Historic Philadelphia and Franklin Square celebrate the year of the pig with the Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival. This year’s event features 29 lantern sculptures, live performances, handcrafted Chinese folk art, a beer garden and a new 200-foot phoenix.

Incisive social and political satirist and host of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, Trevor Noah brings his 28-city “Loud and Clear” tour to the Met for two nights (and three shows). Expect a hefty dose of his witty reportoire as he tackles everything from current events to life growing up in South Africa at the tail end of apartheid.

One of the most ubiquitous children’s stories ever, E.B. White’s Charlotte’s Web comes to life at the Keswick Theatre. The lively and efficient 60-minute show allows young ones to fully engage with Wilbur and Charlotte.
