College Readiness for High School Students
Microsoft Imagine Academy offers high school students weekly programs in Microsoft Word (June 26-30), PowerPoint (July 17-21) and Excel (July 24-28) through a week-long camp. Campers take the industry exam after each week to become a certified Microsoft Office Specialist. What an advantage as they move through school and beyond!
The benefits of getting a head start on the college application process during the summer can ease the pending stress of the fall Admissions season. The Standardized Test Boot Camp and College Essay Writing Workshops offer campers the opportunity to get ready for the College Admissions process when they are not bogged down with everyday school work. Practicing for the upcoming SATs and ACTs or writing the “perfect” college essay in a relaxed summer environment sets a positive timeline for the fall when sports and school begin. Both programs are taught by a Sacred Heart educator with over 25 years of experience. As an English teacher, Mrs. Eileen Day has reviewed and revised college essays for many years! More details about the College Readiness Summer programs can be found on the website.

Whether you are looking for innovative summer offerings for your child or traditional enrichment programs, CDSSH has something for everyone.
The summer programs are also a wonderful occasion for prospective students and families to explore the campus and get a feel for the school mission. The school extends Admissions tours throughout the summer season for families interested in a Sacred Heart Education.
