Main Line School Night is teaming up with Fearless Restaurants for three unique foodie experiences.
Main Line School Night is teaming up with Fearless Restaurants—of White Dog Café and Autograph Brasserie fame—to bring three virtual culinary courses to area residents this fall. The Radnor-based adult education institute pivoted to an online format earlier this year and continues to bring captivating offerings to students. Partnering with local restaurateur Marty Grims, the culinary courses, collectively dubbed “Fearless in the Kitchen,” will kick off on Sept. 29 and run through November.
“We’re really excited about this partnership,” says Wendy Greenfield, executive director of Main Line School Night, who loves the “quality of [Grims’] restaurants, the neighborhood feel of them.”
Attendees, which will be capped at 30 participants per class, can enroll in one or all three of the classes. Starting things off on Sept. 29 is “Mix a Perfect Cocktail,” hosted by Fearless Restaurants’ director of beverage, Len Boris. Boris will demonstrate how to use what tools to whip up everything from a daiquiri to a margarita.

A second class, “Pasta Making Made Easy,” will take place Oct. 17 and will be hosted by Merick Devine, the chef at the forthcoming Italian concept, Rosalie in Wayne. Attendees will learn every step of making semolina pasta, plus the ins and outs of orecchiette and cavatelli.
The final class in the series will be held on Nov. 10 by Mike Selser, executive chef of the newest White Dog Café, which will soon debut in Glen Mills. In “Talking Turkey,” Selser will share his recipes and tips to help home cooks prepare for Thanksgiving.
Each class will last 1.5 hours and registration is $49 per person or $125 for all three courses.
