Ardmore Music Hall once again hosts a New Year’s Eve celebration for the family, with a live performance from Alex and the Kaleidoscope, face painting, arts, crafts and a countdown to noon.

Countdown 2 Noon at the Please Touch Museum

For little ones who can’t stay awake until midnight, but still want to ring in 2019, the Please Touch Museum hosts Countdown 2 Noon from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Visitors can decorate confetti bags and enjoy a performance from the Avalon String Band. There will be ball drops at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m.

Countdown to Noon at Lulu’s Casita

For the sixth year in a row, Lulu’s Casita hosts its White Fiesta Countdown, featuring a performance from the Philly Madbeatz drum line, face painting, photo booth, an apple juice toast for kids and complimentary mimosas for adults.

Franklin Square Kids’ New Year’s Eve Countdown

From 3-8 p.m., Franklin Square will host the final night of its holiday festival, complete with music, crafts and a ball drop at 6 p.m.

A long-standing Kennett Square tradition, the Mushroom Capital will drop a giant lighted fungus when the clock strikes midnight. Families can come early to see the mushroom ascend, starting at 8:45 p.m.

Longwood Gardens will stay open until 10 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, so visitors can explore A Longwood Christmas, complete with carolers, polka and more.

New Year’s Eve Community Celebration and Ball Drop

The borough of Media hosts its annual New Year’s Eve celebration on State and Jackson streets, complete with live music from Philly Gumbo starting at 11 p.m. and a ball drop at midnight. Festivities continue through 1 a.m.

Noon Year’s Eve Bash at the Franklin Institute

From 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., families can gather at the Franklin Institute to celebrate the new year. Festivities include live science shows, magic milk firework experiments, making noisemakers and a ball pit “explosion” at noon.

Parties on Ice at Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest

Get a front row seat to SugarHouse’s fireworks display at the Blue Cross RiverRink, which is hosting two parties on New Year’s Eve—one from 5-8 p.m. and another from 10 p.m.-1 a.m. Visitors can expect food from the Garces Group and Chickie’s & Pete’s, ice skating and a cash bar for adults.

Dance to live music from Chico’s Vibe and enjoy a sit-down dinner during Springfield Country Club’s New Year’s Eve party.
