The traditional Decoration Day service of the Grand Army Meade Post #1 will be recreated at the Historic Laurel Hill Cemetery on May 30 at 12 p.m. There will be a service to honor all veterans who lost their lives while defending the nation.

On Monday, May 30, join the Hatfield American Legion at the bike decorating contest beginning at 8 a.m., with the ceremony beginning at 9 a.m. There will be an open house at the Legion following the ceremony.

Join the Radnor Heritage Society and Museum for this year’s parade and ceremony, with food being served at the Radnor Township Fire Department. Don’t forget to stop by the museum. The parade begins at 10 a.m. on Memorial Day.

The National Constitution Center will honor America’s fallen military heroes with different events such as special educational programs, American flag etiquette, flag folding workshops, “Thank-a-Vet” postcard station and other arts and crafts. This event will be held over Memorial Day weekend but will be closed on Memorial Day.
