Memorial Day weekend is almost here! Kick off your summer by honoring those we lost during their service and welcoming the warm weather to the Main Line region. 

Devon Horse Show & Country Fair

Beginning May 25, the oldest and largest outdoor multi-breed horse competition in the U.S. will kick off at the Devon Horse Show & Country Fair. The Country Fair will raise money for the Bryn Mawr Hospital and host family-friendly activities.

Fireworks Show at Penn’s Landing

The spectacular Memorial Day fireworks show on the Delaware River waterfront will wow adults and children alike with viewing locations at Spruce Street Harbor Park, Cherry Street Pier, Race Street Pier, Washington Avenue Pier and Pier 68.

Chaddsford Winery Memorial Day Taco Fest

The unofficial start of summer takes place all weekend long at Chaddsford Winery from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Featuring taco trucks, live music and the release of a new sangria spritzer, the Chadds Ford event is the perfect way to celebrate Memorial Day weekend in style. The first 100 guests will receive a free sampler of the featured spritzer.

Kennett Square Memorial Day Parade 2023 

One of the region’s largest parades returns to the Main Line area over the long weekend. Join the residents of Kennett Square at the Memorial Day parade this Monday. This event is free to the public and will begin at 10 a.m.

Memorial Day Ceremony at Laurel Hill Cemetery 

Participants at this year’s Memorial Day ceremony at Laurel Hill Cemetery will lay markers at unmarked graves. The event will feature speeches, wreath laying and music and honor guards on May 28 at noon. This will be a service to honor all veterans who lost their lives while defending the nation.

Memorial Day Parade, Ceremony and Hog Roast 

Join the Radnor Heritage Society and Museum for this year’s parade and ceremony, with antique cars as the feature this year. Apply online to enter your own car for any pre-1976 models. Plus, don’t forget to stop by the museum while you’re there. The parade begins at 9:45 a.m. on Memorial Day.

Memorial Day Weekend at National Constitution Center 

The National Constitution Center will be free to all guests this weekend from Saturday, May 27 through Monday, May 29. The weekend is made possible through the generous support from the Citizen Travelers group.

The Rockdale Memorial Day Parade 2023

For the 142nd year, locals can come out for the Memorial Day ceremony beginning at 10 a.m. Volt DJs will be playing patriotic songs and marches. Additionally, there will be free hot dogs, pretzels, drinks and Italian ice.

Ardmore Memorial Day Parade

Starting at 9:45 a.m. with the Merion Concert Band and continuing through to 11:30 a.m., the Ardmore Memorial Day parade will travel from Lancaster Avenue down to St. Paul’s Cemetery, where it will conclude with a wreath laying on the graves of former soldiers.
