The scoop: Stay in the beautifully restored 18th-century mansion or a private cottage. Your lodging is located adjacent to the Wolf Sanctuary of PA (717-626-4617, www.wolfsanctuarypa.org), and you can take an hour-long guided daytime tour on Saturday or Sunday ($12) or make a reservation for a Tuesday or Thursday visit ($15). For a special experience, book a nighttime Full Moon Tour ($20), available once a month. BYO hot dogs or marshmallows for the bonfire.
