Frontier Airlines is Now Flying Nonstop From Philadelphia to Montego Bay

Here are five fun things to do on your next trip to this Jamaican hot spot.

Earlier this year, Frontier Airlines launched nonstop service from Philadelphia to Jamaica’s Montego Bay. Situated on the north side of the island, it’s a popular destination for visitors thanks to its beautiful beaches and entertainment options. Here are five things to do when you go. 

With its clear turquoise waters and sandy shore, Doctor’s Cave Beach (pictured above) is a popular spot to soak up the sun and take a dip in the sea. Note that it does have a daily admission fee. 

Get a dose of the colorful Caribbean aesthetic at Sam Sharpe Square, where visitors can get a feel for 19th-century Jamaica.

Native and migratory birds in every color of the rainbow—some as small as fingers—can be seen and hand fed at Rocklands Bird Sanctuary. Be sure to bring a camera. Give the beach a rest and head to Jamaica Zipline Adventure Tours, which offers five routes. One is 1,600 feet, the longest in the Caribbean. 

Pay a visit to Green Grotto Caves, where the James Bond movie Live and Let Die was filmed.
