There’s plenty of ways to connect with nature and recharge your social battery in the area as well. Surrounding The Roxbury is an extensive trail system leading to the base of a 50-foot waterfall. If you’re more of a thrill-seeker, a few miles down the road is Plattekill Mountain, a ski and snowtubing destination known for its long and challenging runs. Belleayre Mountain, only a 15-minute drive, boasts the longest skiable trail in the Catskills and is a great place for family lessons. In about 30 minutes, you can be snowboarding and night tubing at Windham Mountain.
