Chester County Turkey Trot

The 23rd annual Chester County Turkey Trot is back to help raise funds for the Downingtown West High School cross-country team and the Cure4Cam Childhood Cancer Foundation. There will be a 5K race, 2K race and kids’ fun run.
West Chester Turkey Trot
50 W Market St., West Chester
Begins at 8 a.m.
West Chester celebrates its first annual turkey trot on Thanksgiving morning for any runner looking to burn off some pre-meal calories. Registration is $30 for both the 5k run and 2k walk, so loosen up, have some fun and cheer on your family in downtown West Chester.
MoTown Turkey Trot
1020 Horsham Rd., North Wales
Begins at 8 a.m.
Formerly known as the North Wales Turkey Trot, the MoTown Turkey Trot is back for its ninth year. Get the whole family involved and start a new tradition with the 8k, 5k, two-mile fun run/walk or half-mile kids’ fun run.
Wayne Turkey Trot
4 West Ave., Wayne
Begins at 8 a.m.Â
FS Investments hosts its eighth annual 5k to benefit Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Radnor Township Police K-9 Unit and Philadelphia Financial Scholars. Registration is $30 for adults and $20 for students and children under 18.
Toss Your Turkey 5K

Proceeds benefit the Pottstown Cluster of Religious Communities for Feeding and Sheltering the Homeless as well as Pottsgrove Athletics. Family pricing is available for groups larger than four.
Garnet Valley Turkey Trot 5k

With a 5k and one-mile run, you have the chance to win awesome prizes after this Glen Mills race. All participants will receive a long-sleeve tech tee and chipped race bib. A special Turkey Day prize will also be awarded to the best-dressed adult turkey and kids’ turkey.
Delco Turkey Trot
410 Moore Rd., Wallingford
Begins at 9 a.m.
The eighth annual Delco Turkey Trot is perfect for a day of family fun. Registration is $35 for adults over the age of 13 and $20 for runners 12 and under. The one-mile Little Drumstick Fun Run starting at 8:30 a.m. is great for children who might not yet be ready for the big one. Proceeds from this race help support Nether Providence Elementary School.
Unionville High School Turkey Trot and Food Drive
740 Unionville Rd., Kennett Square
Begins at 10:15 a.m.
The third annual Unionville High School Turkey Trot and Food Drive organized by Unionville High School’s softball and baseball teams is a multi-terrain event covering grass, track and asphalt. Registration is $35. Don’t forget to bring a canned food item to the race, since donations collected will support the Kennett Food Cupboard.
Saturday, November 30
Cardinal John Foley School Turkey Trot
401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown
Begins at 9 a.m.
After you’ve gotten through your holiday meal leftovers, prepare for this 18th annual trot, which takes place on a two-loop course through the Brookline neighborhood. All proceeds will benefit the students of Cardinal John Foley Regional Catholic School.
Phoenixville’s Burn Off the Bird 5K
501 Franklin Ave., Phoenixville
Begins at 9:30 a.m.
This 15-year family tradition is back in Phoenixville with a 5K race to ensure you have digested that Thanksgiving turkey. The trot starts at the Phoenixville Recreation Center parking lot and continues down the Schuylkill River Trail.
St. Bernadette’s 15th Annual Turkey Trot 5K and Family Fun Walk
1001 Turner Ave., Drexel Hill
Begins at 8:45 a.m.
St. Bernadette’s 16th annual race is an exciting dash. Winners in each age group will receive a medal for the fastest time. This course takes you through a beautiful neighborhood in Drexel Hill.
