On a farm in the heart of Chadds Ford, over 100 varieties of peonies blossom starting in mid-May, their layered pink petals unfurling beautifully. Now in its second year, the Styer’s Peony Festival showcases some 55,000 plants across 25 acres. Continuing the festival, but with safety protocols due to the pandemic, visitors can explore the flowers by car this year.
A marked route wends its way by the fields, offering sweeping views of the fields, which contain over 500,000 blooms on display.
This year’s festival runs now through May 31. Admission is open from 11 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 per car.
