I could rhapsodize for days over Jackson Browne. You could say I’m a bit of a fan. So I’m thoroughly thankful to start 2016 on a high note, with Browne’s tour stopping in Atlantic City on Jan. 2.
The tour is in support of his latest album, “Standing in the Breach,” for which Browne will be joined by his stellar band for what one can only imagine will be a stellar show. The set will feature a number of songs from this latest album, as well as past favorites. This touring band is a musically diverse delight with pedal steels and lap steels lending a Nashville flavor, lots of guitars, piano and an organ, too.
On stage, Browne projects the personal warmth and heartfelt emotion that has been his touchstone for the last four decades. His outspoken politics are often interwoven in his gorgeous songs, as well, adding a little something extra rarely found elsewhere, to the mix.
