Virtual Valley Forge Revolutionary 5 Mile Run: April 17-25
Head to Valley Forge National Historical Park for the 15th anniversary of this five-mile race, which falls on National Park Week. Conquer the race from any location in the park between April 17 and 25. All proceeds support this local treasure. Register here.
Healthy Kids Running Series: April and May
This inclusive youth experience for kids pre-K through eighth grade aims to engage families through running. Happening over five weeks in various communities around the Main Line. Book It! Virtual 5K: April 24-May 2
For Swarthmore Public Library’s “Book It!” Virtual 5K, you can run, walk or both anytime during the week, and you’re encouraged to wear a silly hat. Registration is $22, and all proceeds go to programming and services at the library. Go your own way, choose one of the library’s recommended routes, or try the Scavenger Run for a chance to win prizes. Register here.
Butterfly 5K Run/Walk: Apr. 3
Support the Elizabeth Ciunci Foundation during the 20th annual Butterfly Run. This family-orientated event offers a one-mile run/walk and a 5K run/walk, both virtual and in-person. In-person runners and walkers will start at 9 a.m. at the Great Valley High School. Proceeds benefit scholarships for students pursuing a career in special-needs education. Register here.
Virtual Run for Clean Air: April 17
Organized by the Clean Air Council, this year’s race marks the 40th anniversary of the largest Earth Day celebration in the Philadelphia region. Run either a 5K or 10K anywhere, anytime on April 17. All runners and walkers receive a race shirt and medal for finishing. Register here.
Virtual Chester County Run/Walk: April 24
This Chester County race is a charity fundraiser organized by Kerala Association of Delaware County, a nonprofit community volunteer organization.
