The parking lot of this sprawling exhibition center is turning into an old-school drive-in movie. Catch screenings of The Wizard of Oz on Aug. 1 and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone on Aug. 2
Aug. 1, Ardmore
A private Ardmore estate will host the Living Room’s live concert featuring Jeffrey Gaines and Matt Santry.
Aug. 1 – 21, Malvern
Nonprofit theater People’s Light is bringing entertainment back to the region with a drive-in concert series. Catch shows on Aug. 1 (John Byrne Band), Aug. 8, 14 and 21.
Aug. 7-8, Glenmoore
Typically holding world-class equestrian eventing, Ludwig’s Corner Horse Show Grounds will host two drive-in movies starting around 8:30 p.m. On Aug. 7, catch Jurassic Park, and on Aug. 8, Jumanji: The Next Level will be screening. Yellow Springs Catering will offer concessions.
Aug. 9, Villanova
Newtown Square’s Winding Way Records is bringing some of its talented lineup to a free socially-distanced outdoor concert at the Willows. Catch the Fractals and Mia Johnson on stage on Aug. 9.
Aug. 14-15, Glenmoore
Offering a bevy of Broadway hits all year long, SALT has added a socially-distanced drive-in series this summer. Catch a “Kids on Broadway” themed singalong at Ludwig’s Corner Horse Show Grounds.
Aug. 15, Chester Springs
On its sprawling Chester Springs farm, Main Line Animal Rescue will host a drive-in style screening of 1993 classic The Sandlot. Proceeds from the event benefit the rescue’s efforts for animal welfare.
