With The Reeds’ new package, you can take a relaxing trip to Stone Harbor and enjoy pickleball in Lilly Pulitzer’s latest fashions.
It’s almost time to head down the shore, and The Reeds at Shelter Haven in Stone Harbor, New Jersey, has teamed up with Lilly Pulitzer to offer a one-of-a-kind stay package. Starting April 1, guests can book The Reeds’ Court Sports package, which offers pickleball and tennis playing privileges as well as a hand-picked selection of sports apparel from Lilly Pulitzer’s new 2023 collection.
“Travelers who book our Court Sports package will not only have the option of receiving Lilly Pulitzer’s latest sports apparel in room upon arrival, but also [can] enjoy a curated selection of amenities to ensure they’re entirely prepared to hit the courts with everything they may need,” says Ron Gorodesky, founder and CEO of Refined Hospitality.
Pickleball has taken the Main Line by storm, and the trend has continued down the Jersey shore in summers past. This year, the distinct pop of the game’s wiffleball will certainly be heard around shore towns again, and it’s this growing popularity that inspired The Reeds to partner with Lilly Pulitzer, allowing guests to stay and play in style at one of the Jersey shore’s most beloved boutique hotels through October. With the package, The Reeds will cover transportation to the courts at Stone Harbor Recreation, where the pickleball community is booming.
“Pickleball has really grown in the past few years,” says Shannon MacPherson, Stone Harbors’ director of recreation. “It’s great to see people of all different ages and levels coming out to play and getting some fresh air while socializing with each other. The pickleball courts are a popular place to be in the summer!”
The Court Sports package includes:
- A two-night stay at The Reeds
- A selection of Lilly Pulitzer’s court sports apparel delivered in-room upon arrival
- Amenities including pre- and post-game essentials (including water bottles, energy bars and sunscreen)
- Court reservations for pickleball or tennis at Stone Harbor Recreation (including use of racquets)
- Transportation to and from Stone Harbor Recreation
- A $100 daily dinner credit at The Reeds’ dining venues
Guests can select their outfits when they book their stay, which must be at least two weeks ahead of arrival. Gorodesky describes the experience as “seamless and stylish.”
