Colonna Contemporary State of the Arts

Colonna Contemporary’s State of the Arts welcomes local creators, young and old, to submit their works for display at the gallery’s latest exhibition. Honoring the late Matthew Dougherty, a local creative and champion of the arts, this show is not only a “testament to the collective vitality of this community” but also a tribute to those local artists who made this future possible.

Life’s Patina Spring Barn Sale

2025 Montco Heroes Festival

3199 Ridge Pke., Eagleville

Supporting and celebrating our first responders, veterans and military personnel, the official beginning of the Montco Heroes Festival is at 3 p.m., but before then, be sure to check out the 8 a.m. donut sale and noon truck/jeep rally. Gates officially open to the Lower Providence Fire Company Fair Grounds at 2:30 p.m. when the wine/beer garden welcomes guests, but the barbecue tasting doesn’t start until 3:30 p.m. Head by the stage for performances from Camille K., Tommy Conwell & The House Rockers, Josceppi and Bonehead.

Dogwood Festival and Parade

The first Dogwood Parade in 1943 welcomed an estimated 7,500 guests to Phoenixville. Today, the presentation and parade are bigger than ever, with an estimated 50,000 visitors, making it the second largest parade in Chester County. Over the four-day festival leading up to the big afternoon, be sure to check out all the rides, carnival games and food trucks coming to this small town on the Schuylkill.

Derby at the Vineyard

Dress up for Derby Day at Pennswoods Winery for a spectacular afternoon of horse jumping, live music, food trucks and more. Stroll the artisan market, sip local beers and wines and grab a snack from every food truck. Be sure to don your finest hats and brightest colors for a chance to win “Best Dressed” prizes this weekend.

Wayne Art Center Plein Air Exhibition

The Wayne Art Center Plein Air Festival returns in 2025 for its 17th year with 32 juried artists coming to the region to capture the exquisite beauty of the Delaware Valley. Longwood Gardens Festival of Fountains

Through September 28

Longwood Gardens’ big summer exhibition is finally here. Festival of Fountains is perfect for romantic dates, evening strolls and family outings amid stunning greenery accented by brilliant waterworks illuminated by vibrant colors. Stay tuned to Longwood’s schedule for classical nights, during which fountain shows are matched to classical music, once a week on select Sunday evenings throughout the summer.

Valley Forge Trolley Tours

1000 North Outer Line Dr., King of Prussia
Through September 1

See Valley Forge in comfort as this 90-minute guided trolley tour takes guests through one of the turning points of the Revolutionary War. The 10-mile loop of Valley Forge National Park includes stops at Muhlenberg’s Brigade and Washington’s Headquarters, where visitors can disembark and explore the camp on foot. Tours are offered on all weekends, departing at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. through June 1, then daily through September 1.

KOP Town Center Presents: Live Music on the Green

Thursdays through October 30

Unwind, grab a drink or join some friends on a crisp Thursday evening throughout spring and summer for a live outdoor show you can count on every week from 6-8 p.m. on Thursdays. The next performer will be the Joe Miralles Trio on May 15.
