Enjoy a fun pre-Halloween weekend with family and friends at these concerts, events and festivals around the Main Line region.

Take advantage of one of your last chances to catch live, outdoor music, then don your best costumes and take your children to the zoo this weekend for some spooky Halloween fun in the Philadelphia suburbs.

Friday

Friday Night Live

Held outdoors on the lawn, Friday Night Live is presented by the Community Arts Center and features live entertainment by Kevin Valentine and Velvet Swing. Admission is $15 per person and $5 for children. Buying tickets in advance is strongly encouraged. It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy live music outdoors while you still can this season.

15th Annual PAWS Mutt Strut

This year’s fall festival for dogs and everyone who loves them takes place at The Navy Yard to raise money and awareness for Philadelphia’s homeless dogs and cats. There will be live music, food trucks, costume and talent contests, an agility course, paw print painting, a raffle with great prizes and much more. The walk begins at 11 a.m.

Boo at the Zoo

Wear your spookiest costume this weekend at the Philadelphia Zoo’s annual Boo at the Zoo. Enjoy seasonal décor, photo opportunities and festival fall offerings.

FamilyFest

This two-day event will be a celebration of family and fun in West Chester. On Saturday, there will be a car and motorcycle show, food trucks, a beer garden, interesting exhibits, games and more. Sunday will have all of that plus helicopter rides and static aircraft displays. A single-day admissions ticket costs $10, or $15 for both days.

Trunk or Treat

Action Karate Main Line hosts Trunk or Treat this Sunday on Cricket Avenue. You don’t have to be an Action Karate member to enjoy the spooky festivities with friends and family. You won’t want to miss this!
