Made in America Festival is returning to Philadelphia again this year. The much-anticipated lineup for the multi-genre festival was announced earlier today, with Rihanna and Coldplay among the top-billed acts. This year marks the fifth consecutive year that the festival will take over the Ben Franklin Parkway over Labor Day weekend.
The festival, which began in 2012, was created by rapper Jay Z, who selects the eclectic range of artists. Last year’s show, which saw over 60,000 attendees, sold out and similar crowds are expected this year. Past performances have included Beyoncé, Pearl Jam, Modest Mouse and The Weeknd, among many others.
The all-ages festival will take place on Sept. 3 and 4. Pre-sale and VIP tickets will be available to purchase on June 22. General sales will begin on June 27.
