Ardmore Winter Beer Fest

As if anyone needs any enticement to drink in the dead of winter, Ardmore Music Hall makes it even easier with this sudsy event featuring 50-plus craft breweries, including regional favorites Tröegs, Levante and Victory. Expect great live music—and VIPs get brunch curated by Ripplewood Whiskey & Craft.

The Warmth and Wonder of Winter at Longwood Gardens

Escape the chill in Longwood’s famed glass conservatory. Even in the midst of an expansion, its hanging baskets, lush plantings and varied exhibits promise to be alive with color and texture.

The Energy Transfer Veterans Memorial Rink is back again this winter, with outdoor ice skating, great food, large-screen TVs and a heated tent.
12 Chairs at SALT Performing Arts

For the second year in a row, SALT is mounting an original play by an area playwright at its Chester Springs locale. This year, its 12 Chairs by Philadelphia-based playwright, teacher and recovering actor John O’Hara. The story finds Louise reflecting on 12 stages of a life-long relationship as she cleans out her mother’s home.
