In the mood for a good scare this Halloween? These attractions in the Philadelphia suburbs will leave you spooked to your core.

Spooky season is in full swing and, with Halloween right around the corner, here are some of the best haunted attractions to get the chills around Philadelphia’s western suburbs.

Bates Motel

1835 N. Middletown Road, Glen Mills

With multiple attractions, Bates Motel is a must-see around Halloween. Voted America’s Most Entertaining Haunted Attraction by America Haunts and CNN Travel last year, the Main Line venue added even more scary props, sets and lighting effects this year.

Chilling West Chester 2: A Dark History Walking Tour

225 North High Street, West Chester

The Chester County History Center presents the all new dark history walking tour of West Chester. Guests will hear macabre stories from West Chester’s history while visiting landmarks downtown.

Eastern State Penitentiary

2027 Fairmount Avenue, Philadelphia

Halloween Nights at Eastern State Penitentiary consists of 15 attractions inside the cellblocks, including multiple haunted houses, a psychedelic walk-through experience, interactive experiences, themed bars and lounges and different opportunities to explore the penitentiary’s cellblocks, history, and relevance today, with narration by actor Steve Buscemi.

Fright Factory

2200 South Swanson Street, Philadelphia
