Chester County’s Citadel Country Spirit USA Festival Announces Headliners

The first-ever country music event takes place at Ludwig’s Corner Aug. 24-26.

Citadel Country Spirit USA, Chester County’s new music festival, announced its superstar headliners this morning. Toby Keith, Brad Paisley and Alabama will take center stage at the inaugural festival, which will be held at the Ludwig’s Corner Horse Show grounds in Glenmoore Aug. 24-26.

Alabama, widely considered one of the greatest country bands of all time, will headline opening day, with Keith taking the top spot on Saturday and Paisley on Sunday. While the rest of the lineup has yet to be released, festival organizers say that over 20 artists will be featured throughout the weekend. The event will also feature country-themed activities, along with a roster of food-and-drink vendors that includes Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., Barefoot Wine and Jose Cuervo.

Hosted in conjunction with the Chester County Conference & Visitors Bureau, Citadel Country Spirit is produced by Impact Entertainment, the same company behind one of northern California’s largest country music festivals. The grounds have a daily capacity of 15,000, and organizers expect to draw thousands of fans from around the region and beyond.
