I don’t know about you, but I’ve been counting the weeks, days and, now, hours until Game of Thrones returns Sunday nights to HBO. With its April 12 premiere looming, I plan on being glued to the television under a snuggly blanket, with no distractions.
Other dedicated fans might want to show their appreciation by attending the Game of Thrones Premiere Dinner at Restaurant Cerise in Bryn Mawr. The first course is a Braavosi breakfast, featuring Dorthraki Blood Pie, Potted Hare of the North, and spiced squash. For the second course, it’s Riverrun Trout, served with a spinach, walnuts and grilled plum salad in a cherry vinaigrette. The third features Dornish Lamb Loin Chop with fried shishito peppers, rice with dates and chickpeas, marinated feta, olives, and homemade flatbread. Dessert includes elderflower custard, Sansa’s Lemon Cake, and milk of the poppy with sweet wine.
Cost is $55 per person. Restaurant Cerise is a BYOB, so bring your own wine and ale.
