1. Philadelphia Festival of Play

3. Once Upon a Nation Storytelling

At 10 one-of-a-kind Once Upon a Nation benches are scattered throughout Philadelphia’s Historic District, specially trained storytellers share five-minute tales. Children who collect a star from every storyteller get a History Hero Certificate and a free carousel ride on the Parx Liberty Carousel.

4. Eagleview Summer Concerts
June 2-Aug. 25, 7-9 p.m.
The 2015 Eagleview Summer Concerts on the Square are held Tuesday nights (except June 30). This weekly tradition features an exciting group of local, national and international artists.

5. Canoe with Perks at the John James Audubon Center
May 14-Sept. 17, 5:30-7 p.m.
Take a guided canoe tour of Perkiomen Creek, view birds as they feed, and hopefully catch a glimpse of an elusive muskrat. Canoes, oars and personal flotation devices provided.
