Local foodies won’t want to miss the 38th annual Chester County Restaurant Festival taking place Sept. 17, from 12-5:30 p.m. Presented by West Chester Parks and Recreation, this gathering of local restaurants, bakeries and breweries dishing up delightful spreads takes place along Gay and Market streets in downtown West Chester.

With fall just around the corner, a refreshing cider from Big Hill Ciderworks might hit the spot. Admission is $3 and alcohol sales are cash only.
Elsewhere, peruse crafty wares and gifts from 110 arts and crafts vendors. Eight bands will also be performing live at three locations— Gay Street at Matlack Street, Gay Street at Darlington Street and at the corner of Market Street and Church Street—throughout the day.
