It wouldn’t be Mardi Gras without a libation or two. Philly Mardi Gras Crawl will hit some of the city’s best pubs and bars, beginning with the Fox and Hound. Participants, who must be 21 and over, will receive masks and beads to further get into the spirit.

In celebration of Mardi Gras, World Café Live will host two energetic themed shows. The first is Feb. 10 featuring Phillybloco’s Carnaval/Mardis Gras Bash. Get a taste of two cultures with an appearance by the Unidos da Filadelfia Samba School. On Feb. 13, World Café Live hosts its 34^th annual Mardi Gras Show, featuring the Wild Bohemians.

Head to Iron Hill in Phoenixville for its Fatter Tuesday Beer Dinner. The menu was created by executive chef Tim Andrews, and beers were selected by lead brewer William Mink. The five-course meal includes the likes of boudin sausage, okra fries and crawfish.

The Kiwanis Mardi Gras celebration brings all the fun of Bourbon Street, plus a little more—beads, food and drink, a silent auction—to Conshohocken. Proceeds from the event benefit the lunch program in Colonial School District.

Bourbon Blue channels New Orleans on a regular basis, but it’s upping the ante for Fat Tuesday and its Mardi Gras 2018 celebration. The Mardi Gras Dance Party will be held at the Commodore John Barry Arts and Cultural Center, where costumes are encouraged, but not required. The night kicks off with dinner, complete with Louisiana classics, and ends with live music and dancing.

A time-honored tradition, the Philadelphia Mummers Mardi Gras Parade traverses the streets of Manayunk, bringing with it the livelihood of New Orleans. Enjoy the sounds of 16 string bands at this daylong celebration.
