Shop For a Cause

Last night, Helena Cho, founder of Good Work(s) Makes a Difference appeared on the “Anything Goes with Rick & Shawn” show to promote her company’s Inspiration Wrap bracelets and to share the philanthropic mission behind her company. These bracelets, inscribed with uplifting mantras, are not only fashionable, but also charitable. Cho generously donates 25 percent of all their net proceeds to helping people in our own country who are in need. Good Work(s) is creating a red, white and blue bracelet for the Olympics, and has other specialty designs including pink for breast cancer awareness.

Trunk Show

Jewelry designer Alexandra Moosally will visit Govberg Jewelers new Suburban Square store today, showcasing her new lemon pendant designed specifically to raise awareness and financial support for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF). The lemon pendent makes its debut tonight at the Seventh Annual Great Chefs Event to benefit ALSF and the Vetri Foundation for Children. All profits from the sale of the pendants will be donated directly to ALSF. “The lemon, a natural extension of my collection, is a stylish way to support and raise awareness for this important cause,” says Moosally. “I am thrilled to align with Govberg Jewelers and be part of the 2012 Great Chefs Event.”

Govberg is proud to host a trunk show of Moosally’s entire collection (I have my eye on the Evil Eye bracelet), including the lemon designs, at its Ardmore store today from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Fingers crossed that the sun comes out today, too, because an ALSF lemonade stand is scheduled to be set up in front of the store.
