Four Reasons to Take the Plunge Right Now

As the weather cools, you might think that you’ve missed your chance to plan your dream pool. But according to the experts at Ted’s Pools, now is actually the perfect season to get started, so you’ll be swimming by summer 2024. Carol and Joe Perchetti are the award-winning force behind legendary Ted’s Pools, offering over 40 years of unmatched experience. Here are their answers to some of your most important questions about planning for next year.

What type of pools are your specialty?

You name it, and we can create it – everything from gorgeous inground gunite to today’s finest vinyl liner pools – in breathtaking custom designs with dramatic features, like a spill-over spa, lighting or fountain. We also perform meticulous renovations to your existing pool, replacing tile, plaster, coping and decking, then adding spectacular extras. And our full-service maintenance team takes care of you throughout every season.

What is your timeframe to construct my pool?

Everyone wanted a pool as we emerged from the pandemic, and we’re happy to report that we’ve accommodated all of those clients and are ready to take on your project. So as soon as your survey and permits are completed, your pool construction can begin shortly thereafter. Our in-ground gunite pools average 70 business days to construct. Our new liner pools take less time to install, about 55 business days. Fire, water features, a natural boulder grotto or waterfall take a few weeks more.

Is my yard too small for a pool?

Lots of homeowners wonder if their property is large enough for a pool. Luckily, we design and build magnificent pools in many sizes to satisfy a wide array of tastes and budgets. The first step is for us to review current regulations with your county or township codes department. Then we determine existing and proposed impervious calculations, as well as setback requirements to rear and side yards. These preliminary steps are critical to the success of every project. Let’s see what’s possible.

I have an existing landscaper. Would you work with them?

Absolutely! We believe in creating your backyard paradise – right down to the plants and shrubs. Our best projects come together with helpful input from homeowners and their trusted vendors. So, yes, we’d be privileged to work with your landscaper, architect or decorator to ensure that your project exceeds every expectation.

Let’s build your dream pool. Call Carol or Joe Perchetti for a design consultation – and find out what we mean when we say, “Dream underwater.”
