Upland Country Day School serves students from preschool through ninth grade, offering a distinctive middle school experience immersed in the Harkness Method of learning through discussion, leading to strong critical thinking skills, confident public speaking, empathy and open-mindedness. Students also travel abroad, engage in an honors arts program and participate in varsity athletics. For many, ninth grade is a passive year of limited opportunities. At Upland, ninth graders are exposed to unique experiential learning and leadership opportunities, culminating in an education that shapes confident, kind, versatile individuals who are academically prepared, well-rounded and ready for future success.
