The dance parties that have spontaneously spilled into the streets of Philadelphia during this historic election week will culminate on Saturday, November 14, from 6 PM to midnight, with a massive city-wide VIRTUAL dance party.
Hosted by some of Philly’s best on-air personalities and featuring a who’s who of the local dance and DJ communities, the party takes place in the virtual realm for participants, while broadcast live from The Fillmore Philadelphia (adhering to all safety and social distancing requirements).
A benefit Musicopia and Dancing Classrooms Philly, which provide music and dance education and enrichment activities to thousands of Philadelphia area school children each year.
The 6 hour program is split into two sections; Family Dance Party Live & We The People and will culminate in Cosmo Bake’s “Philadelphia Freedom” which will celebrate the historic role our city played in creating AND returning to democracy while spinning an incredibly eclectic mix of Philly Only Music. Viewers can watch the show for free @ DanceOnPhilly.org (donations are suggested) or The Party can be experienced in a gigantic virtual nightclub (Club Inclusion) where for a $300 donation you can watch with friends or go solo into the big room and see and be seen.
