Wynnewood Whole Foods Now Sells Wine

The grocery store became the first of its brand in Pennsylvania to do so.

As liquor laws loosen across the state, grocery stores have begun selling beer and wine.

Wegman’s began selling wine in many of its Pennsylvania supermarkets. Joining them is Whole Foods Wynnewood, which is also selling wine by the bottle, a first for Whole Foods Market in Pennsylvania.

There are currently around 75 varieties available, with more likely to come. Wine and beer are located in the same area on the lower level, adjacent to Table + Tavern restaurant.

“The wine selection at the Wynnewood store will continue to expand through the end of the year and into 2017. We are very excited to continue to raise the bar for the Main Line community and offer this to our customers,” says Kerry Shepski, metro marketing team leader for Whole Foods.
