Whole Foods Hosts New Wynnewood Sips Series

Tour Whole Foods in Wynnewood on Jan. 26 and sample local craft brews paired with game day eats.

Beer, wine and food lovers will adore Whole Foods’ newest pairing series. The Whole Foods Market in Wynnewood is hosting a beer, wine and food pairing series, Wynnewood Sips, beginning on Thursday, Jan. 26, from 5–7 p.m.

To kick off this new periodic series, the first pairing is free. Attendees will have a chance to tour the store sampling local craft brews paired with the best game day eats. The first 150 attendees will also receive a complementary glass.

Cheese will be highlighted at this upcoming event. Meet the in-house cheese and beer pairings expert Renee Ryan, a Certified Cheese Professional from the American Cheese Society. Ryan has five years of mongering experience and a deep knowledge of cheese making, ripening, storage, handling and nutrition. Plus, it’s the perfect place to pick up tips for any upcoming Super Bowl parties.

Join Whole Foods Market again on Thursday, Feb. 9, for another Wynnewood Sips, this time featuring romantic wine and food pairings for Valentine’s Day. The pairing is $5 and includes a wine glass and samples from local wineries paired with romantic bites.

For some sweeter insight, head to the bakery to connect with pastry expert and bakery team leader Jessi Allen. A classically trained pastry chef with over 10 years of experience, Allen will be sharing her favorite baking and chocolate tips for the home baker along with her sweet Valentine’s Day recommendations.
