Moving On
After a little more than a year, Win and Sutida Somboonsong have ended their partnership with Michael Chow and transformed Newtown Square’s Sangkee Noodle Bowl into Azie Southeast, an offshoot of the couple’s Villanova and Media restaurants of the same name. But if you’re looking for sushi, you’ll have to stick to the other locations, or head west on Route 3 to another successful Somboonsong venture, Teikoku.
Drink It In
Sips Bistro & Bar has taken over the former Moon Saloon space on Phoenixville’s Bridge Street. Owner Fabien Chaigneau (Sofitel Hotel, Brasserie Perrier) offers a menu of traditional French bistro fare.
Limoncello Times Two
It’s official: Downtown West Chester’s most popular Italian bistro is expanding to Chester Springs. The opening is slated for the end of the year.
