Ashley Tischler
Owner, Tish Boutique, West Chester
Favorite designers: “Rebecca Taylor, Tibi, Rory Beca, and my go-to is always Vince.”
Fall trends she loves: “Lots of them. I love leather accents. Real or vegan, it always adds an edgy touch to an outfit. I also love slouchy pants. The loose-trouser look—narrow at the ankle and high on waist—is great, with killer heels, of course.”
Style icon: “I feel inspired by lots of women in fashion. I’ve always loved Jackie O’s sophisticated style. Well-tailored clothing on women is essential, and she always looked as if her clothes were made just for her.”
Personal style: “Classic—traditional with a contemporary twist.”
Go-to casual outfit for a typical Saturday out: “I love outfits that easily transition from day to night. DL1961 denim paired with a Vince silk blouse and a Joy Gryson bag is a simple and chic look.”
Go-to outfit for a Saturday night out in the city: “One of many of my LBDs that I can accessorize depending on the look I want. I love that a subtle dress can make such a bold statement with the right accessories.”
Must-have splurges: “I’m drawn to jackets and coats with intricate detail, oversized zippers and eye-catching hardware.”
Favorite item in her closet: “So hard to choose. Right now I have a Mark and James cream shift dress with amazing beadwork given to me by a friend for my wedding rehearsal. I absolutely love it!”

Favorite local boutiques: “Tish, of course. For shoes, I love Ashley Austin in Kennett Square. I really love all the West Chester boutiques. Each one is so unique, which makes downtown West Chester a great place to shop.”
