Favorite designers: “I love the vintage, feminine feel of Marc Jacobs. He’s quirky and innovative yet still wearable. At the same time, I also love to see what Anna Sui puts out each season. She typically flies under the radar these days, but I think her use of prints and colors is always spot-on.”
Fall trends she loves: “While I’m really excited to break out the leather vests, I’m very into the slouchy-pants trend. I recently spent time in Europe and noticed how common it is there. I’m hoping to see more of it in the U.S. It’s a look that’s incredibly comfortable and chic all at once.”
Style icons: “I’m always interested in seeing what Diane Kruger and Michelle Williams are wearing. They both have a really cool alternative edge that I’m drawn to while keeping their looks modern and elegant at the same time.”
Personal style: “This is tough. I dress simply depending on what I feel like wearing that particular day. Sometimes it’s boho, sometimes it’s preppy, and sometimes it’s quirky. I like to mix and match a lot, too. But I love all fashion too much to box myself into one style.”
Go-to casual outfit for a typical Saturday out: “A patterned top under an oversized, chunky cardigan. I’ll balance out the volume with my favorite BLANK NYC skinnies and TOMS desert wedge booties. ”
Go-to outfit for a Saturday night out in the city: “A pretty and feminine BB Dakota dress, with a leather jacket and a pair of studded booties to add a little edge.”
Splurges: Handbags and shoes. “I’ll invest in those pieces since I’ll wear a handbag all season long or the same pair of shoes more than once a week.”
Favorite item in her closet: “Classic, black Louis Vuitton boots.”
Must-read blogs: “I always love checking out what the girls at Philly Blog Love are doing. It’s local and relevant to what my customers are interested in, as well. I also love Le Blog de Betty. I want every single outfit she posts.”
Where she shops: “Nich Boutique, of course. Since I handpick each item that goes into the stores, I really love everything that comes in.”
